Armand Bayou Nature Center's Fall Festival - Nov 7-8, 2026
Lakeview Quilters Guild will host a booth at the Armand Bayou Fall Festival this year to promote our guild and inspire people to join us at our guild.
Days to volunteer to are Saturday November 7th and Sunday November 8th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The booth will be outside, but a canopy will be provided by the guild. If it is raining, the event will be postponed.
Contact us on the website “Contact Us” form if you would like to volunteer to help.

Thread Of the Games - International Call for Entries
We are thrilled to pull back the curtain on a historic, multi-year fiber arts initiative! Threads of the Games is a registered 501(c)(3) public charity organized by a coalition of Southern California quilt guilds, in proud partnership with Road to California.
Our mission? To weave together the worlds of elite athleticism and contemporary textile design on a global stage during the 2028 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles!
We are planning an extraordinary journey that includes:
An international Call for Entries opening July 14, 2027
An exciting “Guild Lottery” challenge for quilting groups
A coast-to-coast national preview tour starting January 2028
A Summer 2028 main event taking over multiple premier cultural venues across Southern California
Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay updated on the Guild Lottery, venue announcements, and the countdown to our 2027 submission portal. Let’s make history together, stitch by stitch!
