Fall Retreat - Sept 9-13, 2026
oin us at Twelve Pines Retreat Center in Huntsville for our annual fall retreat.
12 Pines Retreat is located between Huntsville and Madisonville and our fall retreat will accommodate 17 guests. Each room has 4 beds and a bathroom, with 2 bathrooms handicap accessible. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and has a dedicated refrigerator for guests to bring any food or drinks desired. Arrival is no earlier than 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9. If a Thursday arrival, no earlier than 8:00 a.m. Departure no later than noon Sunday, September 13.
Evening meals will be family style prepared by us (the retreaters). We will publish a meal sign up sheet as the retreat gets closer.
You must be a member to attend the retreat. Registration includes Lakeview Quilters Guild membership. If you are already a member, please ensure you are LOGGED IN to the website to pay for only the retreat and not membership.

Galveston Island Quilt Guild Annual Auction

Preview Starts at 5:30 pm
The Galveston Island Quilt Guild will hold their annual auction at their meeting September 17, 2026. The items this year are from a huge estate and there will be tons of fabric and all things quilt related. Preview starts at 5:30PM, auction starts at 6:00PM at Moody Methodist church fellowship hall, 2803 53rd st Galveston TX. Please enter the side entrance on Ave U. There will be great fabric and quilting bargains such as cotton fat quarters, yardage, thread, notions, kits, rulers, and all things quilt related.
